This is the story of 730 people who will receive a free painting of their hope, created by the artist C.P.Seibt. This social sculpture will form brighten lives by bringing joy instead of cynicism, replacing despair with hope and focusing on the spirit of giving.

A gift from us. And from you. And we'll change lives, together. And it will happen again, every day. For a whole year. Because every day we are aggressively overflooded by terrible news and hideous images. Because our hopes disappear under the daily terror of the powerful over the powerless, insatiable greed, inflated mediocrity and the cynical misinterpretation that the value of art is only its price. As a reaction to this we realized something simple, natural and necessary: the project "365 Paintings for Hope". (See some of Peters paintings.)

People sent us their hopes and got a painting in return. 365 paintings were sent as gifts all over the world. People from 38 countries sent us their hopes 4,700 times. Just hope and joy, exchanged hands with no money involved.

And the positive response was stunning, overwhelmingly warm, and joyful to everyone. On the 20th of August 2015 people will start sharing their hopes with us for a full year. And as a result Peter will respond with his own unique way, by painting not one, but two paintings of your hopes, every single day.

The first painting will be inspired directly from your ‘Hope’ and it is a gift for you. The second painting of your hope is Peter´s response to it. It takes an enormous amount of Art materials to create 730 new original paintings. All of it has to be shipped from Germany, England and beyond to our small Greek island. And then there is worldwide postage (all registered, according to our experiences, see our earlier project) & packaging, services and logistics. And then will be the development of The Hope App on a later date, connecting you with your hopes, on a daily basis.
