1-800-PACK-RAT Supports Hope For The Warriors Celebrity Golf Invitational Benefiting Military

BETHESDA, Md. - Aug. 14, 2015 - PRLog -- 1-800-PACK-RAT is proud to once again sponsor the 2015 Scarlet & Gold Invitational being held Aug 16 – 18, 2015 in Wallace, NC.

The event will benefit the Hope For The Warriors Foundation and numerous Celebrity Hosts will be present, including Johnny Bench and Doug Flynn, who have been present previous years. The event will include golf on the beautiful River Course at River Landing and a full day will be spent on base interacting with troops.

The event will benefit Hope For The Warriors, a national, non-profit organization that provides comprehensive support programs for service members, veterans and military families.  According to the Hope For The Warriors release, “wounded service members, celebrities, retired Flag Officers, sports legends and more will enjoy three days of golf and fun. All proceeds from the event will benefit Hope For The Warriors, a national nonprofit dedicated to restoring a sense of self, restoring the family unit, and restoring hope for our service members and our military families.”

This special golf event honors our nation's heroes. Participants will play on a team with both a service member and celebrity and engage with them at several social events. The event is sure to be a tribute to our nation's military heroes and will be very memorable for all involved.
