Hometown Urgent Care to Open Third Clinic off I94

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Aug. 17, 2015 - PRLog -- Portage residents will have access to a new, convenient choice for healthcare when Hometown Urgent Care opens its third clinic in the Portage area at 5141 South Westnedge, across the street from Meijer on September 1, 2015.

Hometown Urgent Care, operating 24 locations in Ohio and Michigan, currently has locations at 245 West Centre Ave, a few miles south of the new facility, and 1634 Gull Road in Kalamazoo. The expansion of the third clinic will make Hometown the largest urgent care provider for Kalamazoo and Portage residents.

Like its counterparts, Hometown’s new clinic will offer on-site x-ray, labs, and EKGs while providing convenient access to Occupational Health services, such as work injuries and pre-employment/DOT physicals.

The clinic will be open Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 7:00 pm and Saturday and Sunday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, offering busy Portage families a convenient and cost-efficient option for their after-hours health care needs. Hometown Urgent Care will feature self-pay office visits for $89 as compared to local emergency rooms, which average $1200.  Hometown accepts all insurance plans including Medicare and Medicaid.


