Bethel's Family Oktoberfest Set for October 10th, 2015

ONTARIO, Calif. - Aug. 22, 2015 - PRLog -- Bethel Congregational Church UCC announces the first "Bethel's Family Oktoberfest" to be held October 10, 2015, from 11am - 6pm.

The event is a major fundraiser to support the “Restore Bethel Campaign”. .

This will be a fun-filled day! We will be hosting "One-of-a-kind" (No two alike) vendors, have a variety of family entertainment, activities, food, including authentic style German foods, beers, microbrewery tasting, and much more, with many family activities, lots of music, and celebrity appearances,

We are now actively seeking Vendors and Sponsors to participate in this event. We are asking for your support to help us make this event successful and bring renewed awareness to the historic downtown Ontario area and businesses. We greatly appreciate your consideration and as a non-profit organization, your donations are fully tax deductible.

The funds raised will help us to continue providing programs for our community, and will help provide for the restoration of our facilities to provide a safe and welcoming environment. Some examples of our programs include:

Furry Friends Pet Food Bank, which supplies pet food to needy families in our area, who otherwise might have to give up their pets to shelters or the streets;

Participation in the local "Loaves and Fishes" program that feeds up to 150 homeless people in Ontario;

Regular donations to local food banks that provide food for the low income families;

Bethel Arts Community Concerts and Arts Events;

Meeting space for community organizations;

Southland Symphony Orchestra rehearsal and performance space;

After school programs, (in development) and for the restoration of our facilities to provide a safe and welcoming environment for everyone

Our mission is to restore our beautiful building and maintain its iconic landmark status in downtown Ontario through the “Restore Bethel Campaign”. We are reaching out to you and the community for your help.
