Performance Painting Helps Complete Camp I am Special with a Gift of Color

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Aug. 24, 2015 - PRLog -- Every year Performance Painting Contractors gives back to the community by providing a local charity or individual with a “Gift of Color,” last year’s recipient was Catholic Charities- Camp I am Special.  The building that needs a Gift of Color has been under construction for the past year and will be ready on August 29th  for the finishing touches provided by Performance Painting Contractors.

The Gift of Color Paint Makeover is a donation of services and materials that are provided by Performance Painting Contractors and its staff.

“Giving back to the community is a large part of our culture. Once this time of year rolls around, our office manager announces it and a sign up sheet goes up. It takes no time for the sheet to become full as our team is full of great people. The volunteers that give freely of their time and expertise to paint Camp I am Special receive comp time for their participation,” said Jason Parker, Owner of Performance Painting Contractors.

Camp I am Special provides seven week sessions for children and adults that are disabled. The new building has a much needed feature- a sensory room. This area provides campers a quiet area that allows them to deesculate and calm down.
