Performance Painting Accepting Nominations for Gift of Color: For the Love of Animals

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Aug. 23, 2018 - PRLog -- For the past seven years, Performance Painting has been awarding paint makeovers to local organizations in need with the Gift of Color. Each past recipient is one that selflessly helps others in need. This year Performance Painting wants to honor animal lovers, by gifting our services to a person or organization who takes the time to make a difference in the lives of pets and animals in our community.

"Our pets make such a difference in our lives, as companions and members of the family. With the neuter and spay issue we have here in Florida, it takes a lot of time and effort to care for homeless and helpless animals. Animal advocates make a difference in the lives of hundreds of animals each year, and we want to give back to them in the best way we can." says, Jason Parker, Owner of Performance Painting Contractors.

Performance Painting is looking to the First Coast community to inform them of the animal lovers that could use a Gift of Color. They are accepting nominations through their website (https://www.performance-painting.com/gift-of-color-sponso...) until September 15th, 2018. Nominees can be anyone that is viewed as an advocate for pets and animals to the person nominating them. This also includes local nonprofit organizations within the Clay, Duval and St. Johns counties.

The recipient(s) of the Gift of Color are awarded an interior or exterior paint makeover valued at $7,500, which includes paint and labor. Past recipients include:

• Jacksonville Beach Lifeguard Station
• Camp I am Special
• Williams Family
• Community Connections
• No More Homeless Pets

The winner will be chosen at Performance Painting's next all-hands meeting. Each nominee's story will be presented to the team and a vote will take place to decide on a winner.
