Jen Phillips Selected General Manager of Jacksonville, Florida's Trad's Garden Center

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Aug. 26, 2015 - PRLog -- Jen Phillips has been selected as general manager of Trad’s Garden Center in Jacksonville, Florida.

         Phillips will oversee the retail operations, inventory control, customer service and landscape design work.

         A 20-year veteran of the retail garden industry, Phillips has worked previously for several national retailers. She served as a field coordinator for Plants Essentials, Inc., a plant merchandising company in Pennsylvania; as a live nursery specialist for eight years at Lowes; and worked in Home Depot garden centers for four years.

She is a certified master gardener through Home Depot and studied wild life and fishery science at Penn State University.

         Trad’s Garden Center, located at 8178 San Jose Boulevard, is a full nursery and landscape design service center offering flowers, plants, shrubs, trees, garden supplies, garden art and pottery. Trad’s was founded in 1971 by Betty and Lou Trad. In 1979, the family started Trad’s Pest Control to offer pest control and lawn and shrub services.
