My Teacher’s Library - Classroom Library Management Just Got Easier for Teachers

MESA, Ariz. - Aug. 31, 2015 - PRLog -- We are pleased to announce the release of My Teacher’s Library, a personal classroom library app for school teachers.

Inspired by, and designed with teachers in mind, the app provides an easy to use classroom library system for cataloging, managing, and lending books and other printed materials.  Based on teachers’ unique needs, it offers features such as Leveled Reading categories, Supplemental Resource links and cloud storage capabilities for lesson plans, worksheets and other related materials.

Cataloging takes only seconds per book by entering or scanning the ISBN with a bar code reader.  Book information including cover art is retrieved from the Internet and automatically entered into the database.

Lending is made simple by using a smartphone, tablet or desktop.  A label that identifies the resource by school, classroom library, and title can be scanned to complete a lending operation in seconds.  Lending history is maintained to show books read by students.

Automatic email notifications are available to let parents know when their student has a book that has become due.
