Northwestern Mutual Pro Am to be Held at Lawrence Country Club September 7th

Sept. 1, 2015 - PRLog -- On Labor Day, September 7th, some of the best female professionals are coming to Lawrence Country Club to showcase their skills.  The Pro Am format consists of four amateurs and one professional.  Professionals will play for their own purse.

This is the only event on it's kind in Lawrence, KS.  It's a chance for amateurs to play with the best in the business.

All proceeds from the event benefit Alex's Lemonade Stand.  This organization assists families whose kids are fighting cancer.  Last year we raised $10,000.  Our goal is to surpass that this year.

In past Pro Ams, many of the players have gone on to find great success at the highest level. Most notable, Gerina Piller who not only has played great on the LPGA, but made the 2015 Solheim Cup team.
