By: The Master's House Church - Worship Jesus Radio The station received approval of its license to broadcast on Monday, August 31st from the Federal Communications Commission. The format will be 24-hours of Christian Teaching, Music and Talk. Apostle Johnson states, “The station’s primary mission is to publicize the Gospel of Jesus Christ to help reap an end-time harvest of souls for His Kingdom. We are also a vehicle for local community news, severe weather warnings, children’s Bible programs, education, and uplifting spiritual entertainment for listeners of all ages. The station aims promote unity and racial harmony by tearing down the walls of division within the Christian community by offering programming for multi-ethnic believers. The station will be known as Worship Jesus Radio™ but will also be referred to Worship HIM-FM™, and will air classic and current “Christian Hits Music” from several genres to include: Gospel, CCM, Christian Rock, Contemporary Praise & Worship, International Worship, Southern Gospel and Quartets. Featured artists such as Fred Hammond, Chris Tomlin, MercyMe, Marvin Sapp and many traditional as well as contemporary groups will fill the station’s airwaves. Listeners will also hear entire chapters of the King James Version Bible daily. Listeners may tune in on 103.5 FM, and call or e-mail us to tell us how they like the station!” she said. The public information forum will be held at The Master’s House Church, which is located directly across the street from Suffolk’s Pruden Technology Center off US Route 460. Permanent signage for the station has not been erected, but is expected to be installed before year’s end. An open house event is also planned for later this fall.
