Experience HTC Vive™ Virtual Reality Demos on Saturday at Boston Festival of Indie Games

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. - Sept. 10, 2015 - PRLog -- September 10, 2015 – Cambridge, MA – The Boston Festival of Indie Games is thrilled to announce that HTCwill be providing demos of the HTC Vive, its immersive virtual reality system throughout the day on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at the MIT Johnson Athletic Center.

HTC Vive transports users to another world with photorealistic imagery,  360-degree room scale, and dedicated wireless controllers. With demos of some of the most exciting titles being developed for the HTC Vive, both players and developers will be able to explore the innovative technology with the HTC Vive Developer Edition at the Boston Festival of Indie Games.

“The Boston Festival of Indie Games is passionate about supporting, showcasing, and empowering the creative leaders in the indie gaming scene, and by partnering with HTC, we’re able to give our attendees and our developers a glimpse into the future of gaming,” said Caroline Murphy, executive producer of BostonFIG.

The Boston Festival of Indie Games is open to the public and will take place on Saturday, September 12 at the Johnson Athletic Center at MIT in Cambridge, MA. Festival attendees play video games and tabletop games in a casual, inclusive environment, plus attend a musical performance by Videri String Quartet and keynote speech by Susan Gold, Founder and President of Global Game Jam.
