MTR Disneyland Resort Line Celebrates 10 Magical Years of Service

Sept. 22, 2015 - PRLog -- Joining in the festivities at Hong Kong Disneyland, the MTR Disneyland Resort Line is also celebrating its 10th birthday this year. Characters from Disney will be sharing the joy with passengers by making their magical appearances in the “10th Anniversary of the MTR Disneyland Resort Line Souvenir Ticket Sets”! There will be a series of four different souvenir ticket sets, each set will be released for sale separately over a course of four weeks starting from 11 October 2015. Two additional limited edition Disney souvenirs will also be available for sale during the celebration period.

“Disneyland Resort Line is unique in that it is the first dedicated train line for a Disney theme park. Our exclusively designed Disney-themed train has carried more than 50million Disney lovers on magical and fun-filled journeys to and from the theme park over the past decade,” said Ms Jeny Yeung, Commercial Director of MTR Corporation.

“As birthdays are always best when the joy is shared, we would like to make the journeys of our passengers and Disney fans even more memorable by launching the special souvenir ticket sets and limited edition Disney souvenirs,” she added.

The full series of souvenir tickets include four sets entitled “Having Fun", "Reaching Together", "Enjoying the Fireworks" and “Special Experiences". Priced at HK$120, each set comprises one MTR souvenir ticket^*, a specially designed ticket holder, and a designated Disney gift (a Sulley/ Mike camera strap, a Mickey Mouse fluorescent drawing board, Donald Duck/ Daisy earphones and a Mickey Mouse wide-angle smart phone camera lens). The first souvenir ticket set will be available for sale on 11 October, with the other three sets following on 18 October, 25 October and 1 November respectively.

The ticket sets and limited edition Disney souvenirs will be available for sale at all MTR Customer Service Centres^** (unpaid area) on the above mentioned dates from the start of MTR train service while stocks last.
