Westport, Conn (September 30, 2015) – WESTPORT URGENT CARE is pleased to announce its presence in Connecticut, bringing affordable access to quality health care to the community and surrounding areas.

Westport Urgent Care would like to re-introduce our neighborhood urgent care located in Westport, CT at 1045 Post Road East on October 7th.  All participants will receive a complimentary gift.

Our new Urgent Care center will be open seven days a week, Mon - Fri 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sat - Sun from 9 a.m. to 4 p. m. Westport Urgent Care will participate in most major insurances. We will provide walk-in treatment for everyday illnesses and injuries, including more advanced services such as X-rays, blood tests, stitches and treatment for broken bones, sprains and strains.

Patients can visit Westport Urgent Care for basic wellness and preventive services such as sports physicals and immunizations. Local employers can also utilize Westport Urgent Care for services such as workers' compensation, employee injuries and pre-employment screenings and physicals.

Our urgent care center offers convenient hours and can help patients and employers when there is an unexpected illness or injury, and our wellness services can help patients protect their overall individual health.

Westport Urgent Care is under new management and our friendly team includes a new, board certified physician, medical assistants and physician assistants. Our walk-in urgent care center features no waiting times.

Westport Urgent Care will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 11 a.m. October 7th. Channel 12 News plans to stop by for a visit to spread the word about our facility and its services. Flu shots will be available for those four years of age and older. There will be refreshments available including food and drink, as well as music. In addition, we are excited to have the First Selectman, Mr. James Marpe, join us in our celebration. We look forward to meeting our local community and those in the surrounding area.
