PRLog -- With an unbeatable combination of new destinations and services, strong gains in total passengers and improved load factors, bmi regional outclassed all other airlines at Munich Airport to win this year's Munich Exchange Award. The British carrier, which launched its first service in Munich on May 13, 2013 with a flight to Bristol, has since added connections to Rotterdam, Bern and Liège. Representatives of about 40 airlines gathered today at the invitation of FMG, the Munich Airport operating company, for the 16th edition of "Munich Exchange". The conference, hosted this year at the Municon conference center, has established itself as the ideal platform for exchanging information and discussing potential cooperation. It is also the venue for announcing the winner of the annual Munich Exchange Award. It was presented by Andreas von Puttkamer (right), the head of Munich Airport's Aviation Division, and accepted gratefully by Ian Woodley, the chairman of bmi, who was joined by his Chief Commercial Officer Jochen Schnadt (left).
