Follow on Google News | The 3rd annual Sheraton Scare-atonBenefitting the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central New Mexico
Admission to this event will be free to the public and will include access to trick or treating, the haunted house and all festivities and games. All proceeds will go to BBBS of Central New Mexico. “The Albuquerque Uptown Community is growing every day and is quickly becoming the most vibrant place in the city. We welcome opportunities to showcase our local businesses and organizations while finding a way to give back. The 3rd annual Sheraton Scare-aton, benefitting Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central New Mexico, does just that! The BBBS organization helps children realize their potential and build their futures. We want to help them assist as many kids as possible, so all proceeds from the event go directly to the organization. During the event, kids can trick or treat, door to door, through the haunted second floor, greeted by businesses who have sponsored a room. There are carnival games and tasty snacks in our ballroom and we also have a family friendly haunted house. We will have tons of giveaways plus a very exciting costume contest!," said Sarah Wilson, Director of Special Events at the hotel. “It is going to be a wonderful evening of fun and a great way for Albuquerque families to enjoy their evening in a safe, environment. Being that the event is the day before Halloween, kids are able to trick or treat for two nights. How great is that? We love that the Sheraton and the Uptown community have embraced our organization and our efforts.” Said Sharon Tenorio, Chief Marketing and Outreach Officer for BBBS. End
