It provides information on the progress women have made in obtaining corporate board seats. On May 31, 2015, State Rep. Michelle Mussman, D-Schaumburg, passed a resolution to encourage equitable and diverse gender representation on corporate boards of directors. This is very important legislation for women who are seeking corporate board positions in the state of Illinois, and for increasing the number of women on corporate boards.
