ERIE, PA – Zurn Industries, LLC announces additional options for its popular Z-Bite® Push-to-Connect Fittings, enabling faster installations and repairs for plumbing applications.

Zurn’s labor-saving Z-Bite Push-to-Connect Fittings are a tool-free connection featuring a universal design that accommodates copper, CPVC and PEX piping. This torchless sealing method allows for a safer installation and removes the need to drain existing piping, resulting in less downtime for a building’s water system.

The Zurn Z-Bite fittings are constructed with a brass body and stainless steel grip ring to deliver a secure hold on tubing without the need for soldering, crimping or gluing.

Two other conveniences Zurn designed into the Z-Bite Push-to-Connect Fittings: a reliable EPDM o-ring that provides a leak-free, 360-degree seal; and a release collar to permit easy repositioning and removal for retrofit and temporary applications.

The Z-Bite Push-to-Connect Fittings fall within ASSE 1061 and NSF 61 standards for potable and lead-free water applications.
