Ultraseal International wins Exporter of the Year at Midlands International Trade Awards

BIRMINGHAM, U.K. - Oct. 20, 2015 - PRLog -- Ultraseal International was today celebrating winning a hat-trick of awards this year after scooping Exporter of the Year for SME companies at the Midlands International Trade Awards.

The Coventry-based company was honoured for its achievements in expanding its exports and growing its turnover in the face of tough global competition and economic pressures.

Ultraseal is a global leader in finding solutions to the problem of porosity in cast metal parts and its customers include almost all the major OEMs and Tier One suppliers in the automotive industry worldwide.

At the glittering awards ceremony at the Birmingham Hilton Metropole, NEC, Birmingham, on Oct 15, the assembled finalists were praised for helping the Midlands to become “Britain’s exporting powerhouse”.

Ultraseal designs and manufactures porosity sealants and casting impregnation equipment that together offer a reliable and permanent solution to porosity – the microscopic holes that form in a cast metal part during the casting process.

Judges said: “Such was Ultraseal’s dominance of its market worldwide that it was a clear winner for this category. The judges were not only impressed by how the group had maintained its worldwide dominance in casting sealants, but in the way that it kept its important R&D functions here in the Midlands.”
