Brown on their side,” said BAEO Action Fund Interim President Jacqueline Cooper. “Brown has been a champion when it comes to tackling some of the tough issues surrounding education reform in his district. BAEO Action Fund believes he will continue to be a steadfast fighter for Black families and their children to increase access to high-quality educational options for years to come.” A former two-time principal of the year, Brown is a lifelong educational leader who has helped shape the minds of young people for over 30 years. For nearly a decade, he has served as a board member of New Orleans Charter Science and Mathematics High School, and director of the School Leadership Center's Fellows Program, a leadership development program impacting over 300 principals and assistant principals in the region.
