Lake Norman Orchestra to Host Holiday Dinner and Gala Concert

MOORESVILLE, N.C. - Nov. 16, 2015 - PRLog -- You're invited to join Maestro Eduardo Cedeño as he rings in the holiday season with the Lake Norman Orchestra when they present their annual Holiday Dinner and a Gala Concert on Saturday, December 12 at 6:00 p.m.

This family-friendly event will be held at the Charles Mack Citizen Center, 215 N. Main in Mooresville, NC, with  doors opening at 6:00 p.m. for seating at this fine holiday buffet.  The gala concert begins promptly at 7:30 p.m. with a wonderful selection of holiday favorites and seasonal surprises.  Enjoy the orchestra at their holiday best, and yes, Virginia, we'll have sleigh bells - you'll be in the Spirit of Christmas before you know it!

Your holiday dinner will be catered by Sports Page Food & Spirits of Mooresville and an exciting  selection of desserts will be provided by members of the Lake Norman Orchestra.  Whether you come for dinner, the desserts or entertainment, you're going to enjoy the evening!

THE LAKE NORMAN ORCHESTRA, (LKNO),
The Lake Norman Orchestra, a not-for-profit community organization, welcomes all volunteers who desire to improve their musicianship, share their talent with their peers and provide quality entertainment throughout the Piedmont region of North Carolina. The LKNO performs several concerts throughout the year at numerous venues in the Lake Norman area. The LKNO musical repertoire is as diverse as its membership, so you're sure to find something you enjoy. MAESTRO EDUARDO M. CEDEÑO
Eduardo M. Cedeño has performed as a conductor, soloist and collaborative artist in the United States,Europe, and South America. He has led members of the Lake Norman Orchestra on concert tours in Vienna and Salzburg, Austria and Washington, D.C.  As a founding member of the Simon Bolivar Orchestra, Director and Conductor of the Merida Symphony Orchestra and as a Founding Member of the Philharmonic Choral Group of Caracas, Venezuela, he has worked with the founder of El Sistema and the Orquesta Nacional Juvenil de Venezuela. Cedeño has collaborated with numerous performing organizations including the Philharmonic Orchestra of Indianapolis, the Indianapolis Opera, and Charlotte Civic Orchestra; UNCC Opera and Carolina Voices, as well as various orchestras in Caracas, Venezuela.   In addition to conducting the Lake Norman Orchestra, Cedeño presently serves as Adjunct Music Faculty at Mitchell Community College in Statesville, Strings Instructor and former Orchestra Director at Gaston School of the Arts in Gastonia, and Adjunct Music Faculty at Rowan Cabarrus Community College in Concord, North Carolina, promoting music in education wherever he goes.
