In memoriam, five new towers are being constructed around the site. The second, One World Trade Center, was opened in the fall of 2014, and is the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere. View the urban panorama from the 3-level observatory 1250 feet above the street. Or climb even higher to visit the 101st floor restaurants and 102nd floor event space. Another brand new building in New York is the spectacular new home of the Whitney Museum. This edifice would be worth visiting just for its architectural beauty and incredible views of the Hudson River, but it just happens to house an exceptional collection of American art (much of which was previously unavailable for public viewing, due to space constraints) To see a totally different side of this amazing city, have a taste or two of NYC's exuberant nightlife. You can take your pick of dance clubs, beer gardens, hipster bars and tons more. Check out the elegant cocktail lounge Dear Irving or sample a few of the over 600 whiskeys on offer at Copper & Oak. And if you're ready to party until 4 in the morning, head over to the aptly named Late Late, an Irish-inspired neighborhood drinking establishment. Don’t forget that New York is a popular destination. New York has so much to see and do that you’ll appreciate staying in a comfortable hotel with easy access to everything. The nicer and lower priced New York hotels tend to fill up fast in any season, though, so it’s a good idea to reserve in advance (http://crshotels.com/ End
