By: BIZCOM The ongoing surge in construction and infrastructural projects across the Gulf region is driving demand for tools and materials, which is music to the ears for major exhibitors at the three-day Hardware+Tools Middle East 2015, taking place from 2-4 June at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre. The UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar were the top three markets for the construction sector in 2014, according to Zawya Projects. Of the US$ 1.53 trillion worth of real estate projects under construction in the GCC up to 2025, the UAE tops the list with projects worth US$940.5 billion in the design, bid or construction stage. Saudi Arabia is second with US$461.2 billion worth of projects and Qatar is third at US$205.8 billion. Kuwait, (US$82.8 billion), Oman (US$63.5 billion) and Bahrain (US$46 billion) round off the list.
