WESTON, Fla. - Nov. 4, 2015 - PRLog -- Mrs. JoAnn Laskin is cordially inviting you and your families to attend a special fund raising event for the Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center – the Jonathan Laskin Foundation; in memory of her son, JonathanLaskin. Jonathan was a student at Cypress Bay Senior High who lost his battle with Cancer.
JoAnn is hosting the Winter Holiday showing of Fusion By Design-- a line of unique glass creations from the practical to the distinctive one of a kind design.
For those of you who may not know her, JoAnn Laskin is a recently retired Weston educator who has always dabbled in the creative arts. With her retirement, she is now devoting her attention to her artistic side and hosting charitable events, where she displays her artistically fused glass pieces. Fused glass, also called warm glass or kiln-formed glass, is a technique used to join pieces of glass together in a kiln.
JoAnne is planning on showing her fused glass and offering it for sale on Sunday, November 8th from 11:00 A.M. until 3:00 P.M. in the party room at Positano Beach (directly south of The Villas of Positano) – 3415 North Ocean Drive.
