Robert grew up near the famous Steeple Chase amusement park, known by most as Coney Island. It was his childhood experiences near Coney Island that would lead him down his path to professional acting. Robert’ In 1986, Robert participated in the working observer program at The Actors Studio. Long before the studio developed its now notable forum, this program allowed Robert to observe actors like Shelly Winters, Lee Grant, Christopher Walken and Ellen Burstyn teach fellow members at the studio. Robert also studied at the Stella Adler Conservatory in New York City under Tara Bolds. His first Hollywood film was a three month contract with Warner Bros. in a supporting role in a film called "Moving" (1988) starring legendary comedian Richard Pryor. This marked the beginning of a film and television career that has spanned three decades. Most recently, Robert wrapped an independent feature film, “The Pizza Joint” (2016), in Houston, Texas. “We are honored and excited to work with Robert La Sardo.
