Dermatology Associates of INDY Announces Agreement to Provide Care to Medicare Patients

EVANSVILLE, Ind. - Nov. 12, 2015 - PRLog -- Dermatology Associates of INDY (DAI) is pleased to announce that they have entered into an agreement with the Centers of Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), to provide dermatology care to Medicare patients.  The agreement enables Medicare patients to receive care from Dermatology Associates of INDY in:

EVANSVILLE at 1212 Professional Blvd, between Washington Avenue and Covert Avenue.

GREENWOOD at 1700 W. Smith Valley Road, at the intersection of State Road 135 and W. Smith Valley Road.

Prior to this agreement, Medicare patients in Evansville and Greenwood had limited access to quality dermatology care or were often expected to wait months to be seen by a provider.

"Clearly there's a shortage of dermatology practices in Evansville and Greenwood," said Robert E. Nevin, "and Medicare patients have disproportionately felt the squeeze."

In addition to Medicare patients, Dermatology Associates of INDY accepts Medicaid and most commercial insurance plans. Appointments can be scheduled by calling (812) 401-9030 in Evansville or (317) 215-5834 in Greenwood.

"Not only do we accept Medicare patients," added Nevin, "we are also providing same and/or next day appointments for those in need of immediate care."
