The Introduction of FalconTeco Standalone Fingerprint Access Control System

SHANGHAI - Nov. 12, 2015 - PRLog -- The standalone fingerprint access control system is the most popular fingerprint access control system. It is most commonly used in the small and medium offices because it is featured to be super easy and cheap to implement, install, operate and maintain. The below are the introduction of the three kinds of such standalone fingerprint access control systems.

System 1 - Fingerprint Access Control (outside) + Exit Button (inside)
Principle: the door lock is controlled by fingerprint access control.
Advantage: the easiest to implement and the lowest cost.
Disadvantage: the lowest safety, when pulling out the fingerprint access control then the door lock will be opened.
Application: suitable for the environment which doesn’t require high security level, and the environment which requires no access control for going out the door.

System 2 - Fingerprint Slave Reader (outside) + Fingerprint Access Control (inside)
Principle: the door lock is controlled by fingerprint access control, the fingerprint slave reader neither control the door lock nor verify the fingerprint directly, it just send the fingerprint to the fingerprint access control via RS485 and then the verification is done by the fingerprint access control.
Advantage: easy to implement, low cost and high security.
Disadvantage: higher cost than system 1.
Application: suitable for the environment which requires high security and easy solution.

System 3 - Fingerprint Access Control (outside) + Fingerprint Access Control (inside)
Principle: the door lock is controlled by fingerprint access control.
Advantage: easy to implement, acceptable cost and high security.
Disadvantage: higher cost than system 2.
Application: suitable for the environment which requires high security especially anti-passback.
