The Introduction of Secure and Distributed Fingerprint Access Control System

I. Secure Fingerprint Access Control System

System - Fingerprint Access Control (outside) + Exit Button (inside) + Secure I/O (inside)

Principle: the door lock is controlled by secure I/O, the fingerprint access control is connected with secure I/O via RS485.

Advantage: professional access control system, high security.

Disadvantage: comparatively higher cost and complicated system.

Application: suitable for the environment wich requires professional and high security access control system.

II. Distributed Fingerprint Access Control System

System - Fingerprint Access Control (outside) + Fingerprint Access Control/Exit Button (inside) + Distributed Access Controller (inside)

Principle: the door lock is controlled by distributed access controller, and the fingerprint access control is connected with distributed access controller via wiegand.

Advantage: professional and high security access control system, easy to manage the access of multiple doors.

Disadvantage: high cost and complicated to implement.

Application: suitable for the environment which requires professional and high security access control systems for multiple doors.
