Sterling’s Annual BEAM Holiday Fundraiser at Casa Marina Dec. 16th

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Nov. 17, 2015 - PRLog -- Sterling Joyce invites you to join him at his annual birthday celebration fundraiser benefiting the Beaches Emergency Assistance Ministry (BEAM), a charity organization that provides Jacksonville area families in need with food, funds for rent and utility bills, and assistance finding jobs.

‘Tis the season, and Sterling, the much-loved, longtime maitre’d at the historic Casa Marina Hotel in Jacksonville Beach, is ready to start giving. The local legend always celebrates his birthday in high style organizing theme parties that help raise funds for important charities like BEAM, Toys for Tots and Knots4Kids.

This year, Sterling’s birthday party celebrates New York, the Empire State. Broadway comes to the beach on Wednesday, Dec. 16 at the Casa Marina. So, start spreadin’ the news … and spread some seasonal joy to our local children in need, while you’re at it.

If you couldn’t make Fashion Week in New York this year, don’t worry, the catwalk at this year’s party will showcase the latest Seventh Avenue-worthy collections of Erin Healy Designs for Women.

The band, Be Easy, will provide music outdoors in the Jardin de Casa, and jazz ensemble Pierre & Company will keep you in a New York state of mind indoors. Also, members of the U.S. Armed Forces will also be on hand to present the colors in appreciation of the sacrifices made by local servicemen and women.

“The brightest light on Broadway can never outshine the light of generosity,” said Sterling. “The true meaning of the holidays is to spread goodwill to all people. I can think of no better way to celebrate my birthday than to help others, and I appreciate all the talented people and sponsors who make these events shine every year.”

Sterling is kicking off his season of giving with another fundraiser, a black & white party, for Knots4Kids, Inc. The not-for-profit organization provides programs and support to teenage boys in Northeast Florida in the areas of health and wellness, education and personal development.

This event will be held on Wednesday, December 9, from 7-11 pm, at Suite in the Town Center. Partygoers will be treated to an exotic car show outside the lounge, while DJ Milton McGee and soulful songstress, Akia Uwanda, will keep your engines running inside. Admission is a tie, bow tie or belt for teen boys ages 13-17, or a monetary donation.
