New Children's Book Takes Readers Around the World with Alphabet Alliteration

RICHMOND, Vt. - Nov. 19, 2015 - PRLog -- Tandem Light Press and author Linda Cruise are pleased to announce the upcoming release of Around the World from A to Z. The children’s book will be available at Barnes & Noble, Amazon.com, and through Tandem Light Press on December 15, 2015. Tandem Light Press is also accepting pre-order purchases at its website now.

Around the World from A to Z offers a fun look at countries around the world while entwining them with letters of the alphabet. For instance, “Peru’s pointed peaks promise pleasant panoramas” and “Whirls of wind whisper within the weathered walls of Wales.”

The new children’s book is for kids of all ages, and it can be used in various settings, including schools, libraries, homeschools, summer camps, daycares, and more.

Offering vivid, engaging illustration by Kaviya Pugazhendi, Around the World from A to Z offers kids and even adults a unique look at countries around the world.

In celebration of the new release, author Linda Cruise is hosting an official book launch event at 11:00am on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Stargazer Gifts & Toys in Richmond, Vermont (56 Bridge Street). The event will feature a public reading by the author and a raffle. Proceeds from the raffle and donated books will benefit foster children served by The Vermont Department for Children & Families. Local residents are encouraged to join Cruise in the celebration of her new book.
