Dora FL 32757. This show is being presented as part of the Mount Dora Live series.

Back by popular demand after their summer concert Johnny Dee Legends in Concert.  Johnny Dee is back for 1 day only with their Christmas sock hop! Come rock out while this incredible band takes you back to the 50's, Christmas style! Featuring the music of Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, Chuck Berry, The Ronettes and much more.

As quoted in the Daily Commercial “Fans begged Johnny Dee and The Starlights to return to Eustis, where the band rocked the Historic State Theatre last year, performing the timeless hit songs of the 1950s and ’60s.  Lead Vocalist Andy Machett, said “It’s the return to what we think is one of the most supportive and enthusiastic audience bases in the state, if not the country,” said during a phone interview from his Orlando home.  “I really want it to feel like there is a guy named Johnny Dee from the 1950s who just stepped out of a time machine, and he’s playing the hits the way that they were meant to be played,” Matchett said. “That’s our goal.”

The band has generated a following all over Florida with songs like “Runaround Sue” by Dion and the Belmonts and “Only the Lonely” by Orbison.
