At the start of the year they offered students from universities, all over the country, the chance to be a part of their special inaugural internship. From over 1000 applications, six interns were chosen. The lucky selected interns each received the following up front: · $2,000 cash · Their phone bill paid for 12 months · An all expenses paid trip of their choice · Front row seats to music gigs · Front row seats watching the Showtime FX stunt team · A week of skiing during Uni Ski Week On top of all this, the person who simply embraces the Boost Mobile tag line of “Never Stop Playing” is going to win $15,000 towards their university or Tafe tuition fees. “We wanted to make our internship a program which would genuinely set up an individual and help them take steps before they begin full time work at the end of their studies. “Our interns were asked to demonstrate their creative lens on all tasks and we gave them guidance and resources across social media, PR, content development, electronic marketing and strategic planning”, said Ian Blackhall, Chief Marketing Officer, Boost Mobile. The lucky intern who will have all their university fees paid for this year, will be announced on Thursday, 3rd December, 2015, at Schoolies Nation on the Gold Coast, in front of 5000 people.
