North-Central New Jersey Builders Honor In-House Public Relations President With Marketing Award

BRIDGEWATER, N.J. - Dec. 7, 2015 - PRLog -- The Metropolitan Builders and Contractors Association of New Jersey recently honored Doug Fenichel, APR, for his marketing communications work on behalf of the builders association and its members across six counties in north and central New Jersey.

Fenichel, president of In-House Public Relations, received the Kathy Hughes Award at the organization’s 2016 Installation Dinner. Hughes was a founder of the local builders association’s sales-and-marketing council, and was known for her enthusiasm for the homebuilding industry. Fenichel, who heads the Metro Builders public relations committee, has worked on the organization’s website, social media and media relations. He also has assisted with internal communications. For 2015, he also served as second vice president for associates.

“Many of my clients are involved with building and construction,” said Fenichel. “I recognize the important role Metro serves helping those in this field stay up to date on techniques, trends and regulatory issues. It’s an honor to be recognized for the work I’ve done for them.”

The award was given at the 25^th Annual Installation and Awards Dinner, held at Bridgewater Manor Dec. 2.  Seven other awards were given out at the dinner. Roger Hendrickson, of SESI Consulting Engineers, received the membership award; Dominick L. Paragano, of Paragano Homes and outgoing president, received the Distinguished Service Award; Larry Paragano, of Paragano Enterprises, received the Founders Award; Murry Pantierer, BNE Real Estate Group, received the Outstanding Industry Contribution Award; Dennis Loh, of Geo-Technology Associates, was named Associate of the Year; Ernst Hofmann of Hofmann Design Build, was named Remodeler of the Year and Lewis Zlotnick, of Woodmont Properties, received the Builder of the Year Award.

The 2016 officers, including Pres. Philip A. Calinda Jr., and the 2016 board members also were sworn in. Their terms begin Jan. 1.
