Games, Crafts and Outdoor Fun at Triunfo YMCA Winter Camp

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, Calif. - Dec. 14, 2015 - PRLog -- The Triunfo YMCA, serving Westlake Village, Oak Park and Agoura Hills, will host its annual winter camp from December 21 through December 24 and December 28 through December 31. The camp coincides with winter school break.

         The camp will be held at the YMCA facility at Sumac Elementary School (6050 N. Calmfield, Agoura Hills). Week one will include a robot-themed day, sand art, rain forest art and games and sports challenges. Week two features a pirate-themed day, penguin painting, polar bear crafts and karaoke and freeze dance challenges. "We make every day different," says Chrissy Withers, the Y's lead program director. “Campers will come to expect the unexpected.”

         The camp is for kids in kindergarten through eighth grade. Camp hours (including before and after daycare) are 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (camp closes at 1:00 p.m. on December 24 and 31). The cost is $193 per week. Campers need to bring a sack lunch, water and a sweatshirt or sweater each day.
