Clarks Extends Hermes’ Contract for Delivering Online Purchases

CHICAGO - Dec. 15, 2015 - PRLog -- Hermes, the specialist in business-to-consumer (B2C) deliveries, recently secured a two-year extension to its contract with international shoe manufacturer and retailer Clarks. Under the terms of the contract, Hermes will continue delivering online purchases to consumers throughout the United Kingdom. Notably, Hermes has successfully delivered approximately 3 million parcels for Clarks since winning the original contract in 2012.

Hermes is providing both a next-day delivery service and a 3–5 day standard delivery service for Clarks’ UK customers. Hermes projects it will deliver approximately 1.6 million parcels for Clarks in 2015, with volumes anticipated to increase over the term of the contract extension. In anticipation of the peak delivery season, the Hermes team is working closely with Clarks to analyze forecasted volumes and confirm collection schedules.

Clarks operates in over 100 countries around the world. In the United States, it does business under the name Clarks Americas, Inc. Clarks Americas is headquartered in Newton Upper Falls, Massachusetts.
