Amy Oglesby Joins Weinstein Spira as Audit Manager

HOUSTON - Dec. 22, 2015 - PRLog -- Weinstein Spira, one of the Houston Chronicle’s Top Workplaces, is pleased to announce that Amy Oglesby has joined the firm as an audit manager.

Oglesby began her career in the Houston office of Arthur Andersen, spent time abroad working in Zurich, Switzerland for PricewaterhouseCoopers, and later serving as the Director of External reporting for a large multinational public company.

During the course of her career, Oglesby has assisted with the implementation of accounting policies, developed and taught in-house training, and advised on acquisitions and other complex transactions.  She has served clients in the software, telecom, biotech, multimedia news, professional service, and distribution industries.

Oglesby has a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master in Professional Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TSCPA).
