4th Annual Mardi Gras & Carnival Arts Fundraiser

NEWTON, Mass. - Jan. 13, 2016 - PRLog -- The public is invited to Unbound Visual Arts’ 4th Annual Mardi Gras & Carnival Fundraiser with live music by Sammy D and the Late Risers, light hor d' horeauves appropriate for Mardi Gras & Carnival, a full cash bar, an art show of UVA member's work,  dancing, a raffle to win some great prizes, and free beads and masks for everyone. Mardi Gras and Carnival is a huge worldwide celebration that happens every year to start the Spring. It’s a really a big deal in New Orleans and most Latin American and many European countries. It's also called "Fat Tuesday" because theoretically it’s the last day to indulge before Lent sets in for Christians.

Unbound Visual Arts (UVA) is a local a 501(c)(3) non-profit art organization that enriches the community with educational and inspiring exhibitions and programs. In just three years, it has established itself as one of the leaders in creating and exhibiting contemporary art. UVA maintains its headquarters in the WGBH/Brighton Landing West complex at 10 Guest Street.
