Teaching Children About Racial Justice Curated and designed by Kyung Eun Lee October 7, 2021 - December 19, 2021 Public Opening Program: Saturday November 13, 2021 5:00 pm EST Kyung Eun Lee graduated with a master's degree from Rhode Island School of Design in Global Arts and Cultures. She also has a bachelor's degree from UC Berkeley in Art. After graduating from the University of California, Berkeley, Kyung Eun worked as a museum educator at the Museum of Children's Arts, researching and planning for new programs such as field trips, art parties, and open studios. Kyung Eun also worked at the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco to support public programs, contributing to the growth of innovative programs that inspire audiences and expand upon the exhibition's themes like Gauguin: A Spiritual Journey and Contemporary Muslim Fashions. Through art, she has the ambition to develop a platform that would serve as a center of communication and change. Furthermore, by raising awareness of the prevailing community's challenges, Kyung Eun would like to shed light on unrecognized values and marginalized perspectives. Joyce graduated from the University of Westminster in London UK and received her Master's degree in Museums, Galleries, and Contemporary Culture. During her course work she interned at the Museum of Brands and Fulham Palace. As a Massachusetts native she has returned home and works as a Visitor's Assistant at the Institute of Contemporary Art. With this gracious opportunity she hopes to continue curating exhibitions that bring light to disabilities and how they are reflected in the art world. Unbound Visual Arts​ (UVA) is a local 501(c)(3) non-profit organization of artists and art enthusiasts based in Allston-Brighton. UVA creates impactful exhibits and programs that encourage learning, engagement, and change. UVA has completed over 70 curated educational art exhibits in 11 locations across 8 communities and has over 200 members and supporters. These are also UVA's tenth and eleventh 360 degree virtual exhibits. In September 2021, UVA opened its first dedicated and permanent exhibit gallery at the Arthaus, 43 North Beacon St., Allston.
