Honda Unveils 2017 Ridgeline Truck at International Auto ShowThe next generation of Honda's pickup has been revealed, and it's coming to the Detroit Metro area in the first half of 2016.
By: Detroit Honda Dealers Honda has yet to release an official date for the new Ridgeline to hit the market, but it is scheduled to become available in the first half of 2016. American Honda's executive vice president, John Mendel, explained some of the design ideas behind the new Ridgeline, saying, "We are bringing our unique technology and original thinking to the market in a new and challenging concept for a Honda pickup. We think we've got a better idea, a truck that uses its unibody construction and Honda packaging magic to deliver more of the things that many of today's truck customers want and need with none of the things they don't." While the specs of the 2017 Honda Ridgeline are forthcoming, Detroit area drivers can expect features like: ● Smooth handling on and off-road thanks to the available torque-vectoring all-wheel drive and the Ridgeline's durable unibody design. ● Leading cab and bed space offers enough room for the family up front while also featuring the only 4-foot flat width bed in its class. ● Innovative features like the in-bed trunk and audio system as well as a dual-action tailgate let owners get the most out of the Ridgeline, whether it's for work or play. ● Advanced tech features such as an 8-inch Display Audio touchscreen interface (compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay) let drivers stay connected in a Ridgeline. The engine specs have yet to be released, but Honda has said it will be powered by a 3.5L V6, likely the same engine that's under the hood of the Pilot.
