How to personalize your FSU Seminoles Graduation Announcement

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Jan. 18, 2016 - PRLog -- The first thing you want to do is design the outside of your announcement by selecting a style and logo. Remember, you can personalize the inside of your announcement later on and change your text color, as well as add a Semiole Head graphic to the inside of your announcement on Step 4.

Once you have chosen your package, then you're ready to start editing and creating your FSU Graduation Announcement. If you are using Signature Announcements for your official Florida State University graduation announcements, then you will notice the many different options of customizing your announcements. Signature Announcements has a step by step process, and on the 3rd step is where you will start the customization process. One of the first options is whether to choose "with", "with a" or "with an".

Please remember, that if you cannot find the correct information from any drop-down field, please select the first option to Type Your Own. A dialogue box will appear below and you will be able to type in your information exactly as you want it to appear.

• If you have an Associate's Degree, please change to "with an"
• If you have a Bachelor's Degree, please leave it as "with a"
• If you have 2 of the same type of Degree, please change it to "with"

ie. with Bachelor of Science Degrees in

They also have a Degree field. If you do not see your Degree in the drop down, please choose the first option "Type Your Own Degree".

The drop down is in alphabetical order. Please choose the appropriate Degree with the word "in" at the end if you are following the Degree with your major. Always capitalize the words you wish to emphasize.

ie. Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science

Another great option is that you can place your Honors or Minors on your announcement and customize it the way you want it to read.

Under the Special Honor/Minor field. You will need to specify if your entry is your Minor. Please choose the Type Your Own Feature and edit the line exactly as you want it to appear on the announcement. Always capitalize the words you wish to emphasize.

ie. Minor in Chemistry or and a Minor in Chemistry

ie. with Honors, and a Minor in Chemistry

What if you have 2 Degrees, 2 Majors, 2 Honors and/or a Minor.  You can add more lines to your announcement.

*Adding more Lines. If you have 2 Degrees, Majors, Honors/Minors, you may open up more lines for editing. This is where you can get creative. You are free to use the Type Your Own feature on these lines as well. Remember, you will be able to view it all put together on the next step.

Not only can you customize your announcement to read exactly the way you want it, you can change the inside text color or font style.
