Retired MLB Catcher Gregg Zaun to Work with Sports Marketing Partners, LLC

 
SEATTLE - Jan. 19, 2016 - PRLog -- Former Major League Baseball catcher Gregg Zaun has agreed to work with Sports Marketing Partners, LLC (SMP) for endorsements and marketing partnerships.

SMP is sports marketing and consulting company based in the Seattle, WA area with expertise in player endorsements, digital and social marketing and community and public relations.

Zaun added SMP as one of two companies he works with to help build his endorsement portfolio.

Zaun’s notable MLB career expanded 16 seasons from 1995 through 2010. He played with 9 franchises over his career, but is best known for his playing days as the starting catcher for the Toronto Blue Jays during the 2004-2008 seasons. Zaun also earned a World Series ring while playing for the 1997 Florida Marlins.

Zaun can currently be found on television as a popular broadcaster for Rogers Sportsnet, covering Blue Jays games. He’s been nominated twice for Canadian Screen Awards by the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television.

Gregg also focuses his time managing the Gregg Zaun Foundation. The Foundation works directly with organizations such as Wounded Warrior’s Canada, Childhood Cancer Canada and Children’s Hospital of Saskatchewan with the sole purpose of helping Canadian families in need.

SMP is excited to add Zaun, who is the firm’s second retired MLB player, to its roster of athletes.
