31 year old doctor celebrates opening Life Savers ER with ribbon cutting and health fair; first of many to provide the public with free heath screenings.

HOUSTON - Jan. 18, 2016 - PRLog -- HOUSTON, TEXAS--HPT Media--On Friday, January 15th, 2016 at 4 p.m. Life Savers ER celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony. It was hosted by Cy-Fair Houston Chamber of Commerce and honored by the Houston Fire Department Station 96 and Tomball High School drumline. The participating health fair partners were Holistic Physical Therapy and Willowbrook's Academy Sports + Outdoors, who came and educated the public on maintaining proper health and wellness. The event was covered by Houston Community Newspapers and a host of local bloggers. Life Savers ER is giving a special thanks to Texas Land & Cattle (located on 8015 FM 1960 Rd W, Houston, TX 77070) for sponsoring the event with their Famous House Smoked Sirloin, mashed potatoes, seasoned green beans, and sweet tea.

Dr. Foyekemi Ikyaator (Dr. Foye, pronounced Foy-yay)  is the medical director of Life Savers ER. She graced her audience with a royal blue all-in-one suit paired with her physician's coat. She stood alongside her husband with her baby in hand greeting the visitors and patrons one at a time. The excited crowd came from all over the northwest Houston area. The majority of the attendees heard about the event from her viral story -- 31 year old Dr. Foyekemi Ikyaator opens a stand alone full service emergency room.

During the ceremony, Dr. Foye spoke about the purpose and mission of Life Savers ER, which is to make the emergency room visit better with faster service and more efficient immediate care. Her marketing vision is more comprehensive as she and her staff are making a concerted effort to build relationships with businesses, outside medical practices, and the general public within the northwest area by hosting routine health fairs. These events will be an opportunity for the public to get free physical screenings and remain in-the-know about what's freely available to them in order to maintain proper health and wellness.

As for local businesses, Life Savers ER has partnered up with City Ambulance Service to provide employers and their staff free CPR certification courses. These classes are on a first come first serve basis and are held once per month.

The evening festivities wrapped up well past 7 p.m. because multiple facility tours were given to patrons who were still trickling in late into the evening. Overall, about 75 guests enjoyed good food, good house music, and a good mix of social and business networking. Life Savers ER is currently planning the next health fair and look to serve the general public with a better health care leading into the future.
