HOUSTON - Feb. 1, 2016 - PRLog -- On February 13, 2016, Life Savers ER (http://www.lifesaverser.com/) will honor the Valentine’s holiday by hosting a heart health fair for the northwest Houston community. The fair is open to the public to receive free glucose and blood pressure screenings, optometry screenings, and dental screenings.

The six-year-old Houston healthy food sensation, Eatfitters is sponsoring the event with a delectable spread of healthy bites that benefit heart health.  Holistic Physical Therapy is providing complementary massages for the public and will provide one on one consultations regarding blood circulation.  Jenny Craig is this month’s wellness sponsor and will engage with the public on maintaining a heart healthy lifestyle.

This is the second event for the newly opened and much needed full service ER, Life Savers.  This health fair is riding on the strength of hot topic, Dr. Foyekemi Ikyaator (Dr. Foye, pronounced foy-yay) – the 31-year-old, ER doctor who decided to raise the bar and move from resident physician to medical director within a very short time period.  Her story was reported across the country due to her unprecedented move in the normal progression of a physician’s career.  After completing her residency in Emergency Medicine 2012, at the Emory School of Medicine and Public Health, in Atlanta GA, Dr. Foye moved to Houston TX. to further her practice. She gained extensive experience working within the St. Luke's Health System. Today she is the Medical Director for Life Savers ER.

Most people take years to gain the experience and caliber needed to develop the business and medical skills required to run a full service ER.   Dr. Foye's impressive bold step is a testament to her character and determination to make emergency care available to her community.  Plus, how many medical directors across the country look like Dr. Foye?  Her move is indicative of the ever-evolving culture of medical administration.

Life Savers ER is quickly becoming a staple within the Northwest community. Their perspective is, all patients should have access to emergency medical care; which is why their "no waiting" marketing approach is quickly solidifying their relationships with the community’s biggest names in health and wellness. Corporations such as Academy Sports and Outdoor, Jenny Craig, and Cy-Fair Medical Center have already plugged into their potent PR and marketing campaigns.  Life Savers ER doesn’t seem to be slowing down any time soon. Their health fairs will soon become the norm for northwest Houston, serving the public complementary preventative maintenance for their health and wellness. There are plans in place to build relationships with every medicine, health and wellness professional within the community.  .
