GirnarSoft to Launch Several Automotive-Related Web Portals Within the Next Few Months

JAIPUR, India - Jan. 19, 2016 - PRLog -- GirnarSoft Group, owner of leading auto portals CarDekho, BikeDekho, Gaadi and Zigwheels announces the plan to launch multiple verticals related to the automotive section in the next three to four months. The verticals include portal on batteries, light commercial vehicles, insurance and hyperlocal roadside assistance services.

Amit Jain, co-founder of Girnar Soft, said,” We are doing a lot of work on automotive verticals. We are coming up with portals on services, batteries, light commercial vehicles, and insurance,” Mr. Jain further adds, “You will be seeing us soon entering into hyperlocal services for roadside assistance.”

GirnarSoft’s auto and other portals, CarDekho, BikeDekho, Gaadi, Zigwheels, BuyingIQ and Drishya360s are content-based platforms. Now, for the first time, a major transition will transpire, all the new and old platforms will soon be converted from a content-based platform to a transaction-enabled platform. Amit Jain said,” This financial year all our products will evolve from a content-based platform to a commerce platform including TyreDekho and TrucksDekho.”

The group‘s leading auto portal, CarDekho, is also growing dynamically in the international market. The giant rebranded CarDekho as CarBay for its foreign marketplace. CarBay is a content–based automobile platform for the populace of Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam.  The portal will also experience the move from content to commerce platform.

GirnarSoft has chalked out strategies to set up new centers in the Middle East and African regions through acquisitions. According to Anurag Jain, the company also plans to spread its wings in Southeast Asia and stand a chance of settling a good deal within the next six months.

Anurag Jain said, “By the second quarter of this year, we plan to expand in the Mid East and African regions. We have already launched a bike platform in Indonesia and scheduling to bring in multiple verticals including tyres, batteries foreign market.”

GirnarSoft continues to grow significantly with the acquisitions in the last 18 months. The group acquired Drishya360s, BuyingIQ, Gaadi.com and Zigwheels.com. Girnar Software group has received $50 million from Hillhouse, Tybourne, and Sequoia Capital. In February of last year, the group managed to bag significant funding from Ratan Tata and a strategic investment from HDFC Bank.
