KDL SG to Exhibit in “ITEX ASIA 2016” Exhibition

KDLSG to Exhibit a Demonstration of Future-Predicting Applications based on New Data Analytics Technology that has Attracted Much Attention in Japan.

Jan. 19, 2016 - PRLog -- KDLSG will exhibit future-predicting applications based on a new future-predicting technology that dubbed 'Relatedness Technology' developed by Kyoto University. The exhibit will take place at ITEX ASIA 2016 from January 21 to 22 at Singapore EXPO.

‘Relatedness technology’ is a technology which predicts the change of human attention or interest that depends on companion, time, location and other contextual factors. In this exhibition, we will demonstrate ‘Kyoto Life Predicted’ as iPhone application to predict the place to go with somebody and ‘Human Behavior Prediction Simulator’ for predicting human behavior flow line, as an example of ‘Relatedness Technology’.

‘Relatedness Technology’ has been developed since 2009, and has caught the attention of many companies in Japan. Approximately 80 organizations have participated in ‘Mobile and Socialized Systems Forum’ that promotes commercial development with the goal of practical application of the technology.

About Our Exhibition

・“Kyoto Life Predicted” as iPhone application

“Kyoto Life Predicted” is able to predict what each individual will do, when and where it will happen by the location information and photograph of memories. It displays the prediction result of the consideration of the situation, such as location or companion or other things. “Kyoto Life Predicted” has been developed by Kyoto University.

・Human Behavior Prediction Simulator

Behaviors of a large number of people who have different interests in each individual can be simulated from a limited number of actual behavioral logs without creating the behavior models. It can generate behavioral data including ambiguous intentions that is changed by the location or circumstances, i.e. when the person is brushing his teeth, but incidentally washing his face, or else drinking water, but incidentally going to the kitchen.

Various businesses can take also take advantage of this prediction simulator by learning how to display their goods, the placement of the furniture and design of the energy-saving floor plan.

‘Human Behavior Prediction Simulator’ will be developed and commercialized after a technology transfer from joint R&D by Kyoto University and the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT).
