Details of this agreement for services are posted at www.cascade-assets.com/premier.

MADISON, Wis. - Jan. 27, 2016 - PRLog -- Cascade announced this week that it has been awarded a 36-month group purchasing agreement with Premier, Inc. to offer services to Premier members for the secure and environmentally responsible disposition of their IT assets for reuse and recycling.

Effective January 1, 2016, the new agreement allows alliance members, at their discretion, to take advantage of special pricing and terms pre-negotiated by Premier. Cascade is the only contractor providing Technology Asset Disposition services through the Premier program.

In the past three years, Cascade processed more than one million pounds of electronics from Premier members for reuse and recycling. In addition, the company paid these Premier members more than a quarter of a million dollars for items that it refurbished and resold.

“We are honored to have been selected to continue to provide our award-winning services to the Premier membership,” says Neil Peters-Michaud, Cascade’s CEO. “Our relationship with the healthcare industry goes back to our recognition by Hospitals for a Healthy Environment in 2005 as a ‘Champion for Change’ and now extends to serving healthcare facilities in their IT disposition needs across the country.”

Premier is a leading healthcare improvement company, uniting an alliance of approximately 3,600 U.S. hospitals and 120,000 other providers to transform healthcare. With integrated data and analytics, collaboratives, supply chain solutions, and advisory and other services, Premier enables better care and outcomes at a lower cost.

Cascade offers businesses and organizations a secure, environmentally responsible and cost-effective method for the disposal of their unwanted IT assets.  The company operates over 60,000 square feet of production space at plants in Wisconsin and Indiana.  Cascade has collected and refurbished or recycled over 85 million pounds of electronics since it opened in 1999 and has been recognized as an industry “visionary” on the Gartner IT Asset Disposition Magic Quadrant.   All of Cascade’s facilities are also e-Stewards certified, thus guaranteeing that no unused equipment or related components are disposed of in a non-environmentally friendly manner. The company is also NAID AAA certified for secure information destruction, which allows healthcare organizations meet HIPAA/HITECH privacy protection requirements.
