ROMULUS, Mich. - Feb. 1, 2016 - PRLog -- Deagglomeration is a size-reduction process in which loosely adhered plastic pellets are broken apart.  For soft TPEs, agglomeration can occur if the material is packed hot or if the pellets themselves are under pressure due to the way it was packaged.  “Deagglomeration is a valuable service we offer to our customers to ensure our pellets flow freely in our customers’ processes”, says Stephane Morin, owner of APS Elastomers.

All soft TPE material shipped from APS Elastomers warehouse in Romulus, Michigan is inspected for agglomeration. To achieve proper particle dispersal, APS Elastomers developed proprietary deagglomeration equipment; allowing resin to dry, mix and separate evenly.  “We strive to offer the best quality TPEs - and this extends not only to performance, but appearance as well”, adds Morin.
