By: David vs Goliath TV https://vimeo.com/ Lara Starr Rigores co-produced and plays "Angela" in "Forgetting Sandy Glass" Some of her favorite roles to date include, voicing the character "Gardenia" on the animated T.V. series "Pokemon" playing "Anchorwoman" Lara co-produced the film "Preying For Mercy" with John P. Rigores and David Wenzel, directed by Bill Duke In this film she also played "Amber" a down on her luck prostitute, dreaming of a better life. Lara produced "Broken Things" a creepy thriller, made for T.V. and directed by Renee O'Connor. Some of her stage work includes the Off-Broadway show "Fine, Funny and Female" and both the NYC and Germany production of "Lysistrata" Lara is also an accomplished musician and director. Playing the role of Angela in "Forgetting Sandy Glass" has been a wonderful experience. Angela is Stephanie's best friend, (played by Gaia Matisse) the only real light and lightness in Stephanie's life. Angela enjoys lifting her spirits, while she remains grounded in the reality of the Glass family struggles and Sandy's release from prison. Angela uses her bond with Stephanie and her quirky attitude to keep her friend afloat during these tough times. It has been great teaming up with John P. Rigores and David Wenzel again, and working with fellow producer and writer Jaime Dolan. The script, written by John P. Rigores and Jaime Dolan is a beautiful piece, giving a portrayal of the Glass family and honest struggle, an occasional bit of humor, and most of all a realness that comes to life as soon as the film begins. It's a pleasure to work with all of this outstanding cast and crew! End
