We Are the Voice of Hip Hop: Women Connexting Communities

SILVER SPRING, Md. - Feb. 6, 2016 - PRLog -- The upcoming “Women Connexting Communities: Hip Hop Edition” is a must attend event. The event will be held Tuesday, February 9, 2016 from 8pm-12am. This event is being held during the “We Are the Voice of Hip Hop” week  and presented by W.O.W Radio & Kapital Magazine at The Lab in Silver Spring, MD.

WCC is a celebration of women in Hip Hop & the entertainment industry. This event will consist of a female panel discussing topics such as how they connect to the Hip Hop culture, their communities and each other. A donation drive will also be held for the “Pretty Lil Things” project in which handbag and toiletry donations will be collected. Community Connextionz will be taping for the Women Connexting the Community docu-series which will debut in March 2016. Feature performances, guest speakers and LIVE broadcasting are also on the program.

Sponsoring “We Are the Voice of Hip Hop” week is just one of the ways in which we have come together to provide the independent community with positive platforms of expression. Currently, they have limited openings for panelists, guest speakers, performers, vendors and sponsors.
