Edyth Bush Charitable Foundation Invests In Quest Village

WINTER PARK, Fla. - Feb. 9, 2016 - PRLog -- Edyth Bush Charitable Foundation has demonstrated its continued commitment to the Central Florida community by investing in a new, apartment-style community for adults with developmental disabilities. Scheduled to open in spring 2017, Quest Village is an innovative, mission driven building project and is owned by Quest, Inc.

The Quest Village neighborhood will provide unique and comfortable living for residents to call home. It will contain 48 single bedroom and single bathroom units located in twelve buildings with a community center, a large outdoor courtyard and picnic area with space for athletics. The community’s location on Woodbury Road near Waterford Lakes will provide easy access to healthcare, employment, entertainment, transportation and education. As an independent living community, on-site and off-site support services are available to residents who choose to access these services from Quest, Inc. at a cost on an a la carte basis.

Edyth Bush Charitable Foundation funding supported start up costs related to the project including a feasibility study and business plan development. In addition, Quest, Inc. partnered with Dr. Clay Singleton from the Rollins College Crummer Graduate School of Business to provide an opportunity for students to gain experience in the nonprofit sector.

Since its inception, Edyth Bush Charitable Foundation has granted more than $1.4 million to Quest, Inc.
