By: KidLinks “We are truly honored to have Chef Dean Fearing interested enough in our cause that he’d donate his time and talent to create a meal for one of our tables,” says Bonnie Shea, Co-Chair of the 2016 Symphony of Chefs. “He is known around the world as the ‘Father of Southwestern Cuisine,’ so to have him heading up our all-star lineup will be a thrill for everyone at the event.” Symphony of Chefs attendees will experience an evening of fine dining like no other, starting with a cocktail reception, followed by renowned area chefs preparing a four-course dinner tableside exclusively for a table of 10. The chefs will create their own menu, select complementing wines, and interact with table guests while preparing their gastronomical masterpiece. Event Co-Chairs are Bonnie and Nathan Shea, and Summer and Jeff Olmstead. Each year the event’s culinary lineup is a who’s who of Dallas-Fort Worth’s restaurant scene. In addition to Chef Dean Fearing, just a of the few chefs that are committed to this year’s event include: Brad Phillips from Asador; Aaron Valimont from Capital Grille; Pete Nolasco from Chef Pete Catering; Dallas Caterer Nathan Burke; John Klein from Restaurant 506 at the Sanford House; Aubrey Daniels from Robson Ranch; Yutaka Yamato & Michael Scott from Sushi Bistro; World Master Chef Salvatore Gisellu from Urban Rio; James Pettis from Urban Crust; and Ralph Fernandez from Alto Lake and Country Club in New Mexico. Additional participating restaurants include Food Glorious Food, Green House Market and the Hyatt Regency Hotel. The event is open to the public with tables for 10 ranging in price from $5,000 to a VIP sponsorship of $15,000. A limited number of individual tickets are available.
